Earthquake Sculpture

This beautiful sculpture was created by British artist Luke Jerram. It's a visualization of 9 minutes of the seismometer readings from the horrific earthquake that hit Japan, on March 11 of this year. Nifty. via

Best Subway Station Ever!

To quote Laughing Squid,  "Swedish artist Lars Arrhenius was commissioned in 2008 to completely cover the Thorildsplan Tunnelbana station in Stockholm, Sweden with 8-bit pixelated tile art inspired by 1970s and 1980s video games such as Dig Dug and Pac-Man."

More pics and info on this amazing station here.
